For many years, Math 4 Success has been a proud partner of the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP). Through this partnership, we have delivered a wide range of Math and STEM courses every Spring, Summer, and Fall semester.
Our programs give students early exposure to essential math and STEM concepts — from the building blocks of mathematics to engineering principles and coding fundamentals. This partnership continues to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

Location: Lawrence Tech University - 21000 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075
Date: October 3, 2026 - November 7, 2026 (DAPCEP Showcase will be held on the last Saturday at Second Ebenezer Church)
Day & Time: Saturdays, 9am - 12pm
Cost: Only $25 per scholar

Building Blocks of Math
Grades 4th - 5th
Course Description: Math 4 Success’ Building Blocks of Math course is designed to help 4th and 5th grade scholars develop a strong foundation in mathematics, a key to success in all future math learning. Through our innovative and interactive teaching methods, students will build essential math skills, grow in confidence, and discover the joy of learning math.
We make math fun, engaging, and meaningful. Preparing every young learner to think critically and love the challenge of solving problems!
Future Engineers: Algebra & Innovation Lab
Grades 6th - 8th
Course Description: Future Engineers: Algebra & Innovation Lab introduces students to foundational Algebra 1
concepts through exciting, hands-on engineering challenges. Students will explore electrical, mechanical, industrial, and computer engineering while using algebra to design, build, test, and improve creative solutions to real-world problems. Through Math 4 Success’ student-centered, project-based approach, participants will strengthen their problem-solving, critical-thinking, and
collaboration skills while discovering how math and innovation work together to shape the future.
Coding 101: Web & App Development
Grades 6th - 12th
Course Description: Step into the exciting world of coding and app development with this hands-on, beginner-friendly course! Students will learn the fundamentals of computer programming, including key concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, and functions.
Using these skills, scholars will design and build their very own mobile app, gaining real-world insight into careers in technology and software development. Through fun, project-based learning, students will strengthen both their technical abilities and creative confidence — turning ideas into interactive digital creations!
Financial Literacy
Grades 6th - 12th
Course Description: Math 4 Success’ Financial Literacy Course introduces students to essential money management skills through fun, hands-on activities and real-world examples. Topics include credit vs. debit cards, understanding credit scores, saving strategies, and the basics of investing in stocks and bonds. Students will leave with a strong financial foundation and the confidence to make smart money choices.
Digital SAT Math Test Prep
Grades 9th - 12th
Course Description: This course prepares students for the Math section of the Digital SAT through targeted instruction, guided practice, and proven test-taking strategies. Students will strengthen essential skills in algebra, advanced math, problem-solving and data analysis, and geometry and trigonometry while becoming familiar with the format and question types found on the Digital SAT.
Through practice problems, skill-building activities, and SAT-style assessments, students will learn how to identify efficient solution methods, use the built-in DESMOS graphing calculator effectively, manage their time, eliminate incorrect answer choices, and approach challenging questions with confidence. Instruction emphasizes both mathematical understanding and strategic problem-solving to help students improve accuracy, speed, and overall test performance.
By the end of the course, students will have a stronger understanding of the mathematical concepts tested on the Digital SAT, greater familiarity with the digital testing environment, and practical strategies they can apply on test day.
Digital SAT Reading & Writing Test Prep
Grades 9th - 12th
Course Description: Math 4 Success’ Digital SAT Reading & Writing Test Prep course is designed for students who
want to strengthen their SAT reading and writing skills, this supportive course builds confidence
and essential skills for the Digital PSAT and SAT.
This course uses clear, student-centered instruction to break down key concepts and introduce effective test-taking strategies. Students will practice reading comprehension, vocabulary in context, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, rhetorical analysis, and evidence-based reasoning. The course focuses on building understanding step by step and teaching students how to approach digital SAT Reading and Writing question types with accuracy and confidence.
This course is an excellent starting point for students who want to improve their skills and prepare for success on the SAT.
