For many years, Math 4 Success has been a proud partner of the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program (DAPCEP). Through this partnership, we have delivered a wide range of Math and STEM courses every Spring, Summer, and Fall semester.
Our programs give students early exposure to essential math and STEM concepts — from the building blocks of mathematics to engineering principles and coding fundamentals. This partnership continues to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

Building Blocks of Math
Grades 4th - 5th
Course Description: Math 4 Success’ Building Blocks of Math course is designed to help 4th and 5th grade scholars develop a strong foundation in mathematics, a key to success in all future math learning. Through our innovative and interactive teaching methods, students will build essential math skills, grow in confidence, and discover the joy of learning math.
We make math fun, engaging, and meaningful. Preparing every young learner to think critically and love the challenge of solving problems!
Intro to Algebra & Engineering
Grades 6th - 8th
Course Description: The Intro to Algebra & Engineering course gives middle school scholars an exciting early introduction to Algebra 1 concepts and the diverse world of engineering. Using Math 4 Success’ innovative and student-centered approach, learners will strengthen their algebra skills while exploring key engineering fields — including electrical, mechanical, industrial, and computer engineering.
Through hands-on, project-based activities, students will see how engineering connects to real-world problem-solving. This course is perfect for curious minds ready to build their math skills and discover how engineers shape the world around us!
Coding 101: Web & App Development
Grades 6th - 12th
Course Description: Step into the exciting world of coding and app development with this hands-on, beginner-friendly course! Students will learn the fundamentals of computer programming, including key concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, and functions.
Using these skills, scholars will design and build their very own mobile app, gaining real-world insight into careers in technology and software development. Through fun, project-based learning, students will strengthen both their technical abilities and creative confidence — turning ideas into interactive digital creations!
Financial Literacy
Grades 6th - 12th
Course Description: Math 4 Success’ Financial Literacy Course introduces students to essential money management skills through fun, hands-on activities and real-world examples. Topics include credit vs. debit cards, understanding credit scores, saving strategies, and the basics of investing in stocks and bonds. Students will leave with a strong financial foundation and the confidence to make smart money choices.
SAT Math Test Prep - Beginner
Grades 9th - 12th
Course Description: The SAT Math Test Prep (Beginner) course is designed for high school scholars who are new to SAT preparation or looking to build a strong foundation in SAT Math concepts. This course focuses on developing essential skills, reinforcing core math topics, and introducing effective test-taking strategies needed for success on the PSAT and SAT.
Using Math 4 Success’ innovative and supportive teaching approach, students will review key Algebra, problem-solving, and data analysis concepts while gaining confidence in understanding SAT-style questions. Scholars will learn how to break down problems step-by-step, manage time effectively, and approach the exam with confidence.
This course is led by Dr. Leron Lightfoot, who earned a perfect score on the SAT Math section, ensuring students receive expert guidance as they begin their SAT preparation journey.
SAT Math Test Prep - Advanced
Grades 9th - 12th
Course Description: The SAT Math Test Prep (Advanced) course is designed for high school scholars who already have a solid math foundation and are aiming to maximize their SAT Math score. This course dives deeper into advanced SAT Math concepts, challenging problem sets, and high-level test strategies to help students perform at their highest potential on the PSAT and SAT.
Through Math 4 Success’ proven, results-driven approach, students will tackle complex algebraic expressions, advanced functions, geometry, and multi-step word problems. Scholars will sharpen their accuracy, speed, and strategic thinking while mastering advanced test-taking techniques used by top scorers.
Led by Dr. Leron Lightfoot, who achieved a perfect SAT Math score, this course provides students with elite-level instruction designed to push them toward excellence and top performance on test day.
